Well, here's my entry. What was I trying to achieve? Well, like I always do nowadays, I just cut scenes that as a whole compilation will reflect the concept of the music, because I feel that's the main point of a music video, for the video to reflect the concept of the music. Of course, this is instrumental, so its "concept" is slightly open to interpretation and how I saw it is that it's mainly focused on very serious action and my piano parts showing either sentiment or even more intense levels of action--I feel I successfully showed those aspects at the right times.
What made me use "Antithesis" as my title? I used this because most of the video is to do with two people fighting and the title of the track suggests hatred between two enemies, and naturally most people think two enemies are opposites (not to say it's true or that in the animes I used they are fully opposite).
Anyway, I'm writing too much here; if you want to know something else just ask in the comments. Enjoy the video, if you can survive without video effects.

ICEberg You do realise you're a retard, right? Like next time, when trying to say someone has failed, make sure you at least spell the word correctly - you moron.
What you're saying makes no sense and is completely irrelevant to anything I'm saying. As I say in the description of this video, the well-thought conclusion I have come down to is that in a music video, the purpose of the video is to reflect the audio, and that also includes the beat of the music. I mean, the cases where the audio represents the video, are trailers for example, where they add sound effects over the music so there is still some audio and video link. And also, in basically short-movies where the music can be seen as "background music", for example in EvilSpider - Revenge and that crossover AMV from 2002 or something called Dragon Bebop Z.
Show me a hardcut edited music video/trailer that you think I won't think matches my description of "hardcuts", just so you can prove your point.

Btw, I already reached my goal today and I'm surprised you havent noticed yet
Honestly, this is just a way of you trying to crawl out of an argument you already lost. You're going to say something like, "all I wanted to do was make you waste your time." Come on, that's baby stuff - anyone on my level of intellect knows that's the typical way of a person who's trying to run away from a lost argument - try something new. And in all honesty, I started it with you, so if anything, it's me who got you to waste your time. I mean, you're spending as much time here as me.

Also, your message suggests all I did to make my videos look like they had good hardcut editing was by syncing it to music. Well, that last, "bad" one syncs to the music, but I can distinguish its level of hardcut editing from the others. Your points are invalid, accept that.
Nop. You can listen to a song and you can determine where the synch can go.... unfortunately it's not the law all the cases, since every song has a different way to work with a hardcut.
