I adored Into The Labyrinth, and this tops it in a number of ways. Obviously, the technical side (Particularly the use of Twixtor, but I especially adore the light rays) has improved greatly, and the video looks phenomenal. However, more importantly, I felt like I understood the overall idea of the video much more than I did for ITL . I loved ITL as a technical marvel, but suspect that it was just designed to be that. I never got the impression that there was any further concept behind the video, which was not true here. Also, this video had more emotion in it. ITL was aggressive, but emotionally dry, and this video is the opposite. I don't know if it's just my reaction to it, but I ultimately found the video to be quite sad.

The one thing that I found disappointing was that you do not seem to have learned one very important thing from ITL, and that is about using unnecessary effects. Unless it was my laptop crapping out, I felt that the screen-tear type effects didn't really contribute to the video enough to make up for the fact that they were very jarring.

I'll stop comparing it to ITL now, and say that in it's own right, the video is a technical masterpiece, with a strong concept and a unique level of emotion injected into it. I've waited a long time for your next video, and now it's arrived I can safely say I am not disappointed. Fantastic work, and the best of luck in the contest.

He just "transfered" his gaming-edit style to anime and made a few changes

don't you think this can be applied to everyone with this context? he just cut scenes, sync'd, CC'd, masked, blurzoom the hell out of them and voilà an AMV? so all it takes is to get watercolours, brushes and everyone can draw the Mona Lisa?

I don't wana talk about the technical stuff right now. I just wana say that your editing fits well to your idea and concept. The track invites you to edit in a psychedelic way and you have achieved to convey the feelings of the music to me.

In my opinion the concept is about imaginary beloved. I think the most scenes in the AMV are visual allusions to the mind of a daydreamer. So it doesn't feel random to me - it has a very good implementation of the concept. You have to think around the corner to get it and that's what I like about it. Good job 9/10 from me. -1 cause the mid part feels a bit too lengthy for me. ;)

For now it's my favorite amv of akross , personally I prefer it also into the labyrinth because over here we see fewer defects due to 60fps, I noticed, as he said domius, some quotes some famous movie (I don't know if it's a coincidence or not) but I liked it.
The only thing i don't like the the cookie cutter but for the rest great selection of scenes and good internal synch

The first author's work really loved me. It was interesting to see sledushchuju work. Unfortunately the author did not invent anything new. The creative side of the work is boring and not interesting. In technical terms, a great solution masking artifacts from twixtor. More work is not for me no value.

Auf der technischer Eben ist das Video ganz gut, aber ich es nicht zu mag.

you should have stuck to an action/dance style AMV - your twixtor would have been a lot more purposeful then

totally agree

Really interesting concept! I didn't like the artifacts left by twixtor but the emphasis idea of it is smart. Insane video quality though bumping it to a 9/10 for me
