I needed the motivation to clean up and release this video and thought it would be fun to submit it to across and participate. It is not anything super fancy or special, but I am satisfied with how it turned out.

так а их там и есть 4 (я насчитала), если смотреть внимательно)) Семейная пара, женщина, которую бросил муж; молодой человек игравший в бильярд, и фигуристка. Деда выкинули, очень многие линии из аниме опущены.
I liked your videos, as usual, great storytelling. But this time I didn't like the music at all, this why was not impressed that much. 9/10
По мне очень сомнительное м/в. Как некая "бытовая драма" клип вполне хорош. Однако, автор, кажется, пытался замахнутся на весьма эпическое (по размерам) полотно, (возможно отчасти к этому подталкивал исходник), и в итоге накрошил много не увязывающихся друг с другом мелких элементов/ эпизодиков. Похвальное стремление, (обобщать и анализировать), скорее не увенчалось должным успехом. Имхо, лучше бы автор сосредоточился на более подробном изложении двух-трёх повествовательных ветвей.
I don't even know how to properly articulate how much I liked this one. I'm addicted to it now. The song goes perfectly with the drama of the characters' lives, their suffering and then, juxtaposed with it all, the games and the mannequins/dolls/marionettes breaking apart... The hard cuts and fades are a perfect match to the song, and the overall editing is easy on the eyes (it's the most appropriate when we need to see what's happening as well, instead of being thrown around by flashy transitions and effects). It's as they say: sometimes, simple is best.
The beginning with the couple was great indeed it looked like you´ve created a story with drama ...and also the the scene at 1:31 the turning and cut with the sound was on the point and amazing but shortly afterwards the last third...it flagged a bit, I missed the coherence. Overall it was enjoyable, you choosed a perfect song..and created a nice mood. good luck
The start about married couple had a way to be a fine drama, but then other scenes started to go and it became a complete mess of nonsense. It seems for people who didn't watch the anime this AMV won't make any sense. And that is HUGE minus for the AMV, after all, there is no "character profile" listed in the genre.
Picking a good song is not enough to set up a good atmosphere. The video must follow as well.
Super nice vid with a very unique feeling to it. It feels very different from every other Death Parade vid and I love it. For some reason, your faster edits with no hard drama never get appreciated and I don't get why. 100% deserves to be a finalist.
