This year, as an experiment, we decided to entrust the process of nominating videos to genre and technical categories to our users. Based on your votes, shortlists for voting in the finals will be formed.

All registered users who have reached the 3rd user level can take part. Voting is anonymous.

Attention Participants! Key dates of final stages of the contest has been adjusted:

Registration deadline - January, 31.
Deadline for uploading - February, 1 (videos uploaded after the deadline will automatically miss the finalists' screening, and can only get to the finals through viewers' voting).
Finalists announcement - February, 10.
Viewers Vote for additional finalists - February, 10-12.
Finalists Vote - February, 12-15.
"Viewers' Choice" Vote - February, 14-15.
Winners announcement - February, 16.

AKROSS project officially announce 19th International AMV Contest "AKROSS Con 2020"!

Any editor can participate, but only videos never displayed before will be accepted. Registration will begin on September, 15. Approximate deadline for entries - December, 15.

AKROSS has got its own page on Patreon! Now it's possible to not just support the project, but also directly influence its development in the near future.


How does Patreon work? You can subscribe to any amount you can afford, starting with just $1 (you can increase or decrease the monthly subscription at any time, or cancel it altogether). The higher your subscription tier, the more personal benefits you will get (exclusive supporter status, early access to contest videos, etc.). The higher our total income per month - the more different goals will be achieved. Current list of goals:

● Annual AKROSS Con contest (the most important, of course)
● Providing a prizes for the winners (the higher our income, the better prizes we can afford)
● Development of a new website design (it's about time)
● Disabling advertising on the site (nobody really likes advertising, and we would love to get rid of it)
● New projects for the community (there are many options, and the choice will be left to our patrons)

If Patreon for some reason does not suit you, it's still possible to support the project with direct donation. All direct donations will also contribute to unlocking new goals.

Please note that starting from this year, an additional vote will only happen if two (or more) top videos will get equal number of points (previously, it was one full vote).
