The begining has a great feeling, but when the song switced to a darker tone it felt weird, it's not bad, it's just that I think it lacks some impact and dynamics when said part starts, but near the end it gets a better, and your compositions ain't bad!
Pretty interesting video, I liked it.

Damn, I need to watch this series/movie/whatever it is.
I loved the whole vibe from this amv, the music and source blend really well together, I could imagine the OST ressembling this song.

I think the idea isn't bad but I you don't have the technique for making this kind of project for now, there are issues like the smoothness and diversity of the masks, use of maskings and overall cleanness in your compositions and I even notice some scenes with ghost frames,
It's nice that you are going for an ambitious project, but it may be better if you learn first how to put up the things you need to create a crossover BUT as I said, the idea is nice, yuri is always welcome (tho these series have really different animations, maybe you could invent another pairing) and what really matters is having the ideas, after you learn how to make clean compositions you'll be a great editor c:
