I understand that you were going for a sentimental concept, but man, it wasn't strong - I just didn't feel it. The only thing that kept me watching was to see how well you modified the source with Twixtor. Next time though, maybe you should just go for 24fps and use Twixtor for slow motion effects; that way, you won't have to restrict your AMV to only consisting of scenes that are suitable for motion interpolation. On a side note, this is the only serious comment I've posted here this year, because your video was the one I was most anticipating...

no, lol, trust me, just dropping twixtor onto the source would never give you these results. In terms of how the twixtor looked, here was better than his Into The Labyrinth AMV, but imo he put it to better use in his Into The Labyrinth AMV. |

Your use of twixor is spectacular but I was expecting a masterpiece but to be honest, I wouldn't like the video at all if not for the fps. It's really really beautiful and this video gave me a motivation to learn how to use it but here I think it totally lost the potential and to me the video is just bland. Maybe I didn't understand your concept, it was really psyche and all but dunno... it didn't convince me at all, especially as I heard it was genious. Maybe it's also for the fact it was my most awaited premiere of this Akross.
One thing I have to say - KyoAni in 60fps is soo beautiful *.*
I do feel disappointed and I don't feel like watching the vid for the second time but you'll get 8,5 from me for the best use of twixor ever ;) |
