Because it's the opening of the movie, and it fits slow instrumental music and it's a metaphorical and atmospheric matching first scene; and most of all because editors are too lazy to look for a better intro :p I've used it, too, so i'm allowed to say that, haha.

Anyway, this was a very beautiful video. Nothing we haven't seen before, unfortunately, but i'm guessing it's a personal reason why you decided to keep it simple and close to the original storyline, so.... i still enjoyed it. I'd only refrain from using masks as transitions with such a slow song, unless you really know what you're doing and find a way to incorporate them smoothly. This really threw me off. Lovely video :)

This was very good! I enjoyed it a lot. Good lip synching and the mood and scene selection were great!
