Сам исходник я недолюбливаю (уж больно он смахивает на евку - что то вроде = стырили негодяи ленивые)
Но это не-говорит о том - что клипы по нему, должны быть плохими.
Тут стори то мне понятна.
Понравились - некоторые решения с синхрой (особенно начало).
Клип берёт больше в эмоциональным плане - не желе с технической стороны.
Ну мне лично зашло и удачи на конкурсе.  |

Да и трек подобран к клипу хорошо + лирика в тему и сделано с умом.
Из того что не-понравилось, ну,у,у, наверно затемнения в некоторых местах = хотя и понимаю что они сделаны в целях = поддержать атмосферку. |

Overall the action was pretty cool but I think the video dragged out because of the length, these type of videos don't hold out for that long without adding more variation.

The song was a bit offsetting because the lyrics talked about music and a musician which kinda took me out of the video a bit but overall a solid attempt at this kind of video. | [10.02.2021] Li0n » The Night We Met [SUBreX] | You have a good eye/ear for anime and music combos and I think it's one of the really good things to have when you are still not experienced enough. In general, text is really hard to incorporate in an AMV and you really need a lot of experience and knowledge to make it work. Don't feel like you have to put text to emphasize something in the video, your editing can easily do that, and in your case, it does so without the text. The video was not all that bad but it needs a lot more work to become pretty decent.
I think the next step for you is to try and work on simply syncing more to the music and make scenes flow better together. In my experience this takes time and the best method that I know of that can teach you those things is watching other AMVs. Take all the romance/drama AMVs that will reach the finalists in this contest and try to see how they sync to the music and how they transition between scenes. You don't need to copy them, just get a feel for it. Then try making more and more videos while asking for proper criticism from people you like and respect editing wise. This video is heavily based on composition work so people are really gonna focus more on that. So by not having really solid comps, the viewer is taken out of the video really easily and it's a shame because with the right comps this video would have been really awesome.
The main thing you can really work on and make the comps 100% better is the black/dark colors, like Radical Dreamer pointed out, with whom I completely agree with

Especially on the eyes which sometimes were too black. You even got the dark right in some scenes. Maybe you just got a bit tired of polishing and left the other full black, I don't know.
Just hope on after effects and play around with the dark values on the artificial eyes and maybe sample a dark value from the character or the background. Pretty sure you can find a different black value that will work better.
Keep trying new stuff out and learn more about compositioning. I see that you are willing to work a lot on a video which most people don't or can't do and you are just missing the correct knowledge and techniques
Overall this is video isn't bad and you as an editor have a lot of potential. Your videos will reach different levels if you manage to fix some things.

Also, I've never seen any amv with this anime. It looks awesome, I need to check it out! I think most of the flaws were pointed out in previous comments so im not gonna say anything about those.
