Being a non-profit fan made project, for the last thirteen years AKROSS has existed only through personal funds of its organizers. Now, due to a number of unfortunate circumstances, keeping the project afloat has become a serious financial challenge for us. So, we decided to launch a fundraising campaign, hoping to find support from editors and viewers who appreciate what we have done and continue to do all these years. After counting all finalists' votes we discovered that the difference in points between three best videos in main category is less than 1 full vote. Thus, in accordance with contest rules, we started additional vote to determine the ultimate winner of AKROSS Con 2014. We ask all finalists to make your final choice in "Participant's Panel" (deadline - February 16th, 13:00 GMT).

This year, "AKROSS Con" contest celebrates its 10th Anniversary!

Over the past years, AKROSS project hosted eleven contests, featuring a lot of talented editors and more than 1.500 exclusive premieres to date. From a small event, created for a Russian-speaking community, AKROSS Con managed to become one of the most famous and prestigious online AMV-competitions in the world.

Paying respects to the glorious legacy of AKROSS Con, we invite you to learn the history of the contest, remembering (or discovering for the first time) videos that were awarded the highest honor ever possible on our site - the status of Winners of AKROSS Con.
