Probably the most thought-out video I've made so far, the concept came to me quite naturally as I just happened to be re-watching FLCL in a deeper perspective and I just came across this song one day, which I liked as soon as I heard it. The late work of Satoshi Kon and the wonderful Mongatari series I felt would fit with the song as well.

I've love the term "coping mechanism" and it's basically anything a person does to cope or deal with any type of stress they may have, whether they realize they're doing it or not. This can really be anything from smoking weed to taking pictures so it's an interesting psychological thing to consider.
