Well lets not trash this comment section anymore or else i might win a award for best meme of 2016. But i think people should just do what they want, and stop comparing since with as many "Styles" as there is theres a great chance a amv is gonna remind you of it.

For example, your "Within" AMV was also severely criticized for being the anime version of the "True Detective" intro, to which you kept replying it was just " double fucking exposure ". Taking inspiration and adapting other styles to mold your own, thus creating a video with your own ideas and concept is perfectly ok, as I said so in the comments of your video in AMVnews.

Very amusing how there are hundreds of editors whose style is exactly the same as everyone else's, and nobody cares, but when anyone does anything slightly reminiscent of lolligerjoj, everyone loses their minds.

being influenced by another editor's amvs is ok, but don't just make exactly the same thing that editor already did; the psychedelic genre didn’t start with lolligerjoj and will certainly not end with him; let’s say you liked an effect you saw in an amv, there’s no problem in using it, just make it your own, put a spin on it, be one step ahead of lolligerjoj if you want to make a psychedelic amv; even his amvs don’t use the same effects, but the style is the same, that’s why I’m saying you should use your own style; the same goes for MrNosec

I agree the community is salty. But ofc you're right pleasing the community wasnt my goal with this amv. Also i'd like to say this isn't a parody and no it wasn't my idea to copy lolligerjoj BUT instead take a concept he had and turn it into something of my own to prove i could do it, and i did in my mind. And also remember just because lolligerjoj did something similair doesnt mean he owns the style.

Wow this comment section is a mess, kinda disappointing to see the community from this perspective. I'm not here to tell anyone what to do, but consider the following:

Code of Ethics for Responding:

- If you are responding to a video announcement, please try to make constructive comments. If you think the video is bad, tell the creator what is wrong with it and how it could be made better. If you didn't bother watching the video, then perhaps you should keep your comments to yourself.

- People become better through practice and experience, but peer support and advice can accelerate that improvement. For all you jaded and cynical creators out there, don't forget that at one time or another you were new to editing also.

I, for one, notice that alot of effort was put into this, and even if it doesn't have a coherent narrative or a defining editing style throughout the whole video, it doesn't even look like it was made out to be a pleasant experience to the viewer, maybe that's what the author was going for, and even if you dislike it, or hate it even, it does it's job in setting itself apart from the AMVs we see everyday, and like every other AMV, it deserves more useful feedback than mindless bashing and jokes.

Не знаю что там в голове у всеми нами любимого и уважаемого автора. (Ну если Я не ошибся с автором из-за его аватарки. А хотя какая разница :smile:

) Это в конце концов его глубоко личное, интимное дело.
А вот то что клип отражает общую "деградационную" схему нынешнего развития АМВ, (стремление к укорачиванию длительность, упор на синхру, (псевдо)психоделичноть), - факт. Конечно это можно рассматривать и как стёб над тенденцией... Только зачем? )

Хорошо, но огрызычно. От столь малой длительности весь "толк" от клипа, имха, совсем теряется. Была бы работа минут на шесть, наверняка бы даже забрал себе, а так... глянул да забыл...
