| | | Hi Everyone. Really glad to be participating for the first time in this competition. I initially didn’t plan this and was only going to spectate simply because I had an AMV which I started earlier this year and got bored of it. Coup de Grâce alludes to several metaphors associated with falling in love, the internal emotional struggle that occurs before the attraction turns into a stronger definition. I wanted to make a something that felt like a “music video performance” think Michael Jackson’s thriller i.e. to have a basic story, dance routine, and artist performance. Really happy with the turnout. Might decide to make a “making of” if there is an interest for that. Anyway: I like certain parts of the video. For some reasons, I feel that the video could be better at the middle for example, and even in certain moments from the beginning like after 0:20. Yet you have some ideas here I was expecting to see something that could connect the whole video. You have success at certain moments but then it gets lost

Its easy to misunderstand the concept. I used the word 'alludes' because the goal wasnt to create an emotional/sentimental piece(Resonance already had that covered), but rather a fun dance with suggestive or textbook description of romance if you will. As for scenes, I'm with you there...it was done on very short timeframe but if you watch closely subjects relating to falling in love like confession, rejection, doubt/confidence, empowerment, vulnerability, embarrassment, excitement, sex, etc are carefully highlighted while still maintaining the core focus of being a 'fun/dance'.

Thank you for the great feedback and comments. Was certainly expecting the key of rukia and orihime to fail the Akross scrutiny test but to my defense, I couldnt find a HD source for that clip even though my Google-fu is pretty good
