I'm not sure if google translated it correctly, but you basically said I should have continued with the same track and the rest of the video seems disjointed from the first minute, right? Sorry if I got that wrong lol.
I intended the intro to be very different from the rest of the video, both to build a sense of progression and to cause a greater impact when the transition occured, which can lead the viewer to feel alienated when watching for the first time.
I respect your decision in disliking the track shift because you feel like the atmosphere was lost, but since that's what I was going for it would be silly of me not to, and with your comment I can tell that it was, for the most part, a succesful experiment
I don't remember ever talking to you about your videos honestly, I believe I never watched them, dragon ball edits don't appeal to me, we just talked once on the comments section of my half assed twixtor tut where you told me not to spread it around or it would become overused, you started off well with valid arguments on why mainstreaming an effect could be bad, then it all went to shit due to your ego, so I adressed your attitude and stopped replying because I simply don't have the patience, can you remind me where you wrote the text I apparently copied? A link perhaps?
lmao why u repeating what i said to you when you were trying to diss my edits???
agreed
Thanks alot! I'm flattered, really glad you enjoyed it.
Thank you very much!
The main reason it isn't riddled with interpolation artifacts is the fact that I was extremely picky when it came to scene selection, most action scenes gave me a hard time and some of them had to be scrapped entirely, but using masks and sometimes even mattes to help guide twixtor also helped considerably (I haven't got a clue what you mean by "32" in that context though), some examples here: http://imgur.com/a/h3Adc
About the flow, after the calm intro I think some people weren't expecting the harsh jump cuts and scene selection which inclined the viewer to look at opposite sides of the screen constantly instead of focusing on the middle, this was necessary because every action needed a corresponding reaction for the events to have impact and feel relevant, also for the Kuleshov effect to take place, which played an important role when mixing several movies to create a single coherent fight scene.
Thank you both for the rating
