Association of Russian AMV Creators AKROSS was founded on December 20, 2002, with the goal to unite all domestic stand-alone editors under one strong, helpful community, thereby improving overall quality and competitiveness of Russian AMV videos on the International scene.
In December 2012, it was decided to abandon any Association functions and fully concentrate on organization of International AMV contest AKROSS Con.
