I am quite torn about this video. It was nice, but I think it might have been better without the scribble effects and instead to have focused on better flow. Why? Well, the scribble effects were so distracting to me... I kept thinking they must have a deeper reason, something to add to the storyline. But instead I felt like it was more of a: 'what effects can I add to make this video stand out from the rest?' And I think that should never be the reason for effects. Visually the effects are nice and very well done, but as I said, if you take them away, you have your average Wolf Children AMV with no twist on the story at all. And the effects are also not consistent enough to add to the video as a whole, because sometimes you have them there, then you don't, then suddenly they appear again... Don't take this the wrong way, I can see you worked hard on this, but as a concept it wasn't convincing enough for me. Good luck in the contest, though :)

I don't understand what are the problems about the song: the choice of the song is a personal choice and a personal experience, judge the video without prejudice ;D

easily my favorite video of the contest so far. although i think the second half was weaker than the first and felt a bit rushed. that said, really enjoyable and great job overall. 8ish/10

Very emotional. At the same time, I felt a strength. But the scenes are probably meaningless for viewers who didn't watch the anime "Future Diary". Your video lacks a good explanation, or a story.

For me, this isnt what amv is about. It goes against many of the things I find fascinating about the form.

You cannot pack a bunch of OPs and EDs, then slap a song over with little synchronisation to the music or depth to the overall concept. It just feels like you assembled a playlist of OPs in VLC and then decided to switch on the music in the background.

You have to do more than match camera movements between scenes or character gestures. Its a valiant effort and lovely to see you enjoyed the process but it lacks character and feels hollow. Hopefully you understand my criticism and wish you the best.

Update: So I watched this a couple of times again, and I did realize that most of the anime selections are 'individually' synchronised to the music but together, they lose this because the connection to the overall concept(if there is one, is very weak) and therefore makes it lack an identity. Would like to see you make more effort in your overall direction and story-telling capabilities :)
